Wednesday 10th Sept was 210 years since the people of Belize, won the Battle of St. George’s Caye. This ended Spain’s attempts to dislodge them from what is now our country. This public holiday is a very important and patriotic day for the people of Belize.
In Placencia we celebrate with a big parade through the village followed by food, drinks and good times with friends.
